Carey Moots built a 20 year KOB TV tenure and later NBC work from a chance camera shot at a neighbor's burning house. His path spanned Dateline, Runaway Bride, Katrina coverage, and NBA broadcasts. He rose to chief photographer and director of news production before branching into national and international projects with NBC and allied outlets.
