First at Albuquerque National Bank on Coors Road and Bluewater NW at 7 30 p m Monday January 8 in the bank hospitality room. Second at Republicans Headquarters at Carlisle and Montgomery NE on Wednesday January 10 at 7 30 p m. District 29 covers NW city from Central Ave to Paradise Hills and NE area bordered by Del Norte High School to the Sandoval County line. Stratton defeated Rep Abel McBride in the last general election and will begin his first term in January 1979.

Professional Home Builders cleared ground on the south side of Paradise Hills Blvd for 66 townhouses in Barrancas Estates. The 2 and 3 bedroom units will be one-story in a modified California public style with prices from 45000 to 72000 and occupancy by early spring. A model complex Sandia Vista is planned north of the boulevard across from the Methodist Church. Several custom homes are under construction in Paradise Hills Country Club Estates Unit 3 near the golf course.
