Cibola students win congressional nominations to Annapolis
Three Rio Rancho high schoolers from Cibola Marine Corps Junior ROTC earned U S Naval Academy nominations from Senator Bingaman, joining 36 New Mexico nominees. Feuer Heid and Holder, ages 17 to 18, lead in school and band roles and hold Eagle or Life scout ranks. They seek civilian majors, hold strong grades, and may pursue Navy or Marine paths after a final Annapolis review.
