Police name top civilian and officer of the year
David Branch a code enforcement officer and Officer John Roskos were named Civilian of the Year and Officer of the Year at a ceremony at the department’s headquarters. Roskos, on the weekday graveyard team, has 8 years service and 2009 saw 70 DWI arrests and 983 citations. Branch, with 20 years in city service, processed thousands of cases and 957 citations, earning praise from supervisor Walter Bolon for integrity and dedication.
