Corrales Council Tackles Budgets Roads and Annexation

Corrales Village Council meeting on February 12 tied up past sessions with many ordinances. Budget talk covered road work bills, emergency funds, and a $15,000 year over year surplus. Officials approved pay raises for 1982, discussed annexation and extraterritorial planning, and set animal impoundment fees. Public works include library improvements and a new park surround fencing, with volunteer labor and bids for a sprinkler system.
