Marquez Named Chief County Administrator in Sandoval
Sandoval County Commission created three administrative posts replacing the county manager’s office. Acting County Administrator Frank Marquez was named chief county administrator, Rosita Martinez was named administrator of fiscal and budget matters, and James Chavez was appointed legislative liaison and programs planner. Chavez had not yet reported to work. Salaries for each post are 19000 annually. Marquez, 33, has a public administration masters and prior roles in Solar America and the Energy Extension Service.
