Enough Is Enough group seeks village stance on Montana bridge
Los Ranchos residents forming Enough Is Enough press for a village position on a Montano corridor bridge over the Rio Grande to relieve West Mesa traffic. They claim current village policy against both Montano and El Pueblo corridors may not reflect residents’ views and plan a call in poll to gauge support before Santa Fe lobbying for funding. Boundary Commission Postpones Hearing On Annexation Petition
The state boundary commission postponed a December hearing on Rio Rancho's petition to annex 3,507 acres south of Southern Boulevard to the Sandoval Bernalillo line and from 30th Street west to Rainbow Boulevard due to weather. Chairman Cooter said Quorum requires two of three members present. Balagna and Kezele were unable to attend after a snowstorm and travel restrictions. A new session was set for December 28.
