Alana Rae Eager Wins Environmentalist of the Year
Alana Rae Eager, Community and Staff Development Coordinator for the Albuquerque Environmental Health and Energy Department, was named the 1985 Environmentalist of the Year by the New Mexico Environmental Health Association. Her work on air pollution outreach, household hazardous waste collection, and the 1985 86 program guide advanced environmental health awareness citywide.

BASA Daycare Offers Holiday Program in Albuquerque
Camp Fire presents BASA holiday day care for elementary children from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bandelier Elementary and the University of Albuquerque. Sessions run December 23, 26, 27, 30 and January 2, 3 with snacks provided. Full day costs 11 dollars, or 22 dollars for a three day week. Registration for the EASA program closes December 18. Themes include A Vision of Peace and New Beginnings in a New Year.
