Dr. Lee Hooker said signatures from 51 percent of registered voters are needed to form the district and a five member zoning board would be elected once formed. Members explained eligibility outside municipalities and a minimum of 150 single family dwellings. If created, zone change petitions would go to both Bernalillo County and the Paradise Hills Zoning Board for approval by the stricter code. The group hopes to gather over 1,000 signatures. more than 450 have signed so far. Dues were set at 3 dollars yearly for individuals and 5 dollars for two-person families with 18 as minimum age. Incorporation plans were announced and a Christmas party for children at Siesta Vista Elementary School was scheduled for December 18 with a Santa Claus visit.
