Rio Rancho photographer Moots heads Dateline feature
Eight time Emmy winner Moots, a 1979 Cibola High School graduate, rose from shooting local houses on fire to worldwide freelance work with NBC CBS BBC and Disney. He balanced family time with regional deadlines and recalls Central Avenue shoots and a Detroit trip for regionals. Dateline airs Friday at 8 p m on KOB TV.

Santa Ana Star Search auditions seek hopefuls for finals
Contestants submit recordings for a chance to audition in February with 24 chosen to compete. Public sessions are planned at Clear Channel Radio Albuquerque. The grand prize includes a one year development contract, a $10,000 award, a two person trip to the 2011 American Idol finale, and a Bosque Event Center solo show. Finalists receive $500 prizes.
