Free Sunday concerts at Haynes Park in Rio Rancho

Stand-up Trio Set to Light The Stage at Santa Ana Star

Santa Ana Star Casino hosts Andrew Rivers Keith Ellis and Eddie Tafoya for solo stand-up sets. Rivers recently logged 300 shows in three years and tours in a big comfy tour bus. Ellis grew up known for quick wit and celebrity impressions. Tafoya, a New Mexico native, writes and teaches creative writing while delivering sharp local humor. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Comedy starts at 7:30 p.m.

Placitas Community Library at 453 NM 165 hosts Ric Farrell at 2 p.m. to present a travelogue with photos and narration from his month-long Trans-Siberian train journey aboard a private train led by Beijing guides. He discusses cultures of Mongolia, Soviet era city development, Russian family encounters, and highlights of Moscow and St Petersburg, followed by audience Q&A.

Antiques Roadshow to air three Albuquerque episodes on NM PBS

The 12 time Emmy nominated series visits Duke City with three Albuquerque stops on KNME TV Channel 5 Mondays at 7 p m Sept 28 Oct 5 and 12. Highlights include a 1969 Woodstock jacket a silk wedding gown and a Jane Peterson painting with values up to 300 000 and a 1969 Jasper Johns print and a 1775 French filigree earnings valued about 45 000 to 60 000.
