Attendance policy tested at Cibola High School
Albuquerque Public Schools proposes a pilot attendance policy at Cibola High School similar to Highland, targeting students with more than seven yearly absences. The plan includes a modified closed campus for ninth and tenth graders, intensive monitoring for risk groups, parent notifications, and possible suspension for eight or more absences per class semester. A parent meeting is set for August 22 at 7 30 p.m. in the Cibola High Performing Arts center.
