Mother Abandons Child At McDonalds In Rio Rancho
Rio Rancho woman Connie M. Supik 42 is charged with child abandonment after leaving her 10 year old daughter at a McDonalds on Southern Boulevard for about two hours Aug 2. A manager reported the unattended child and the grandmother later took custody with state CYFD approval. Supik denied DWI, saying medication caused impairment. a drug recognition expert cited medical problems rather than alcohol. She was jailed at Sandoval County Detention Center.
