Parish mourns Rev. Wolf death at 57
Rev. Ron Wolf, pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Rio Rancho and former archdiocese chancellor, died Aug. 2 from kidney and lung disease complications. More than 1,000 attended his funeral. he helped raise 400000 for a new parish hall and served since 1994. His replacement will be announced Sunday.

Intel bond study shows county costs vs state gains

Oldest New Mexico habitations found near Sandoval county landfill
Archaeologists uncovered a 5000-year-old site west of the Sandoval County landfill during a required environmental survey before expansion. The discovery includes a small house, about a dozen hearths, and 10000 artifacts likely from the Archaic period. Findings will be preserved even as the site is destroyed.
