Renovation updates The Pit near completion for 2010 11 season
The $60 million upgrade of The Pit in Albuquerque is nearing completion for the 2010 11 season. The project expands space adds 60 000 square feet and retains bowl seating with enhanced technology. U NM reports 96 percent of contractors are New Mexicans and 35 suites 90 club seats sold with a crowd of on site workers daily. Fans can purchase commemorative pavers near the main entrance to support renovation costs and gain recognition.
