Motorcyclist Injured in Head-on Crash on 20th Street

Marilyn Mueller, 62, of Rio Rancho crossed the center line on 20th Street near North Hills and struck Carl Winton, 29. Winton sustained spinal injuries and multiple fractures and is in stable condition at University Hospital. Mueller is hospitalized for heart problems.

Infant CPR Class Offered at St Joseph West Mesa

A free infant CPR class runs 8 a.m. to noon on the last Wednesday of each month at St. Joseph West Mesa Hospital 10501 Golf Course Road. Linda VerWay, a certified CPR instructor, teaches resuscitation of newborns to one year old, focusing on keeping an infant alive until an ambulance arrives. Registration is by calling 893-2261.
