West Mesa airport decision looms after decade of debate

The issue draws in city county state officials, FAA, Westland Development, and business groups while weighing initial two runways for light aircraft against a future major jet facility. The outcome hinges on environmental impact, the city plan, and funding for land purchase and construction.
