Tournaments Hit By Weather Then Produce Late Season Wins
The Rio Rancho Country Club golf season opened with a rainout but the MGA held two tournaments with B Sands J Ross and C McDermot taking first in the point event. A big field tied for second led to $165 in prize money and a $235 Blind Partner event with ties at both first and third. The next tourney is May 5 a 4 man scramble and an MGA meeting on May 10. Community flood prep notes urge evacuations centers, sandbag arching, and neighborly alerts.
