Pulte sale remains on table despite NNNA rejection

Club Rio Rancho owner Rhett Browne says he will press ahead with zoning for the North 9 golf course sale to Pulte Homes despite the North Nine Neighborhood Association vote against the residential plan. NNNA officials say they oppose the zone change and housing development, while Browne cites community benefits and aims for a city hearing in April or May. Jorgensen Cancer Center Opens at Rust Medical Center

The Ted and Margaret Jorgensen Cancer Center debuts at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center as part of an $89 million patient tower. The clinic links cancer care, nutrition, social work, psychology, and infusion services staffed by 45, with capacity for up to 40 radiation patients daily and 20 to 30 infusions. Inherst volunteers weekly, drawn by family cancer experiences, and the boutique provides free wigs and prosthetics to patients.
