Maloof Family Buys Majority stake in First National Bank

The Maloof family purchased about two thirds of First National Bank of Albuquerque from Popular Services. George J Maloof and relatives will own the shares. the bank has 16 Albuquerque offices and ranks 281st nationwide.

Residents Association delays action on report

The Rio Rancho Residents Association postponed any decision on incorporation. At the next meeting April 27 members will discuss the study summary, ask questions, and hear from the study committee. The board urged wide participation, with copies of the full report available at the library and from board members.
