It warns against laxatives and salts while praising liver pills as safe, mild vegetable extracts that restore charm to attract men. The ad cites price 26 cents and urges readers to ask for Carter's Liver Pills by name.
The Elephant Butte Irrigation District directs Bureau of Reclamation officials to report any waste or uneconomical water use.
