Lehmann is in Texas while Evans operates in Kentucky ahead of the All-South Convention in Atlanta, July 13 to 16.

The Salem C E Society met in the school house each Sabbath at 4 30 PM. Members from Salem Presbyterian plus Methodists Baptists and Concord Presbyterian share service. The recent meeting supported Home Missionaries and recalled Rev William Lloyd and Mrs Mary Cooper Petrie as survivors of the old school. Members have served as missionaries in Ebenezer Tenn Cuba and the South Carolina University.
