Nothing To It Wilse Wilson Incident Clears Barber
Wilse Wilson was arrested after an accusation of hitting a white woman on Laurel Street. The incident drew widespread comment but a Tawgon’s white barber shop barber on Robinson Street proved to be an inoffensive figure. He is identified as a barber connected to a police court official and has been discharged under bond. Numerous white witnesses testified to his character.
