The session featured Dr D M Douglas of the Presbyterian College, with Dr S P Fulton of Japan and Rev L O McCutcheon of Korea discussing Foreign Missions. Synod considered a change to Board of Church Order to license a student after junior year. Home and Foreign Missions reports drew earnest support as pastors and supplies were reported. Presbytery of Durant Meets at Idabel Oklahoma 1916
The Presbytery of Durant convened at First church Idabel on September 12 1916 with Rev J E Flow delivering a sermon on How Was Jesus Baptized from John 1 25. Rev J S Baird elected moderator and Flow named temporary clerk. Various clerical moves and praises followed including a new evangelist appointment for Rev E W Mitchell and discussions on church dismissals and fundamental doctrines.
