Pistol Duel Turns Deadly on Broad Street
A pistol duel last Monday night at 1419 Broad Street left Joe Gramman dead after shots struck his neck and chest. Robert Herbert, also of 1419 Broad Street, lies in serious condition at SoPhilp's Hospital with a stomach wound. Gramman entered Herbert’s rooms after an argument sparked the confrontation. Herbert’s fate is listed as hopeless by doctors.
