What is Life by Douglas Howard in The Richmond Mail

A mixed collage of verse and miscellany arrives from The Richmond Mail. The poem wonders about life’s meaning and fleeting joys, while accompanying items report on campus rumors, quirky anecdotes, and local adverts. It includes notes on Indiana State University students, a story about a fictitious Carter, curios about a Durham bull, and brief notices and ads from Richmond merchants and services.
