County Judge Held on Liquor Charge
Louisville Ky November 29 Judge Thad Cheatham Spencer county judge was jailed in Jefferson county on federal liquor warrants. He and five others were arrested at Taylorsville after missing 250 cases of whisky from the Spencer county courthouse. Prohibition agents seized 455 half pints in farmer John Covey's home and connected the case to Constable George Pollard and others. The group faces federal charges with more arrests expected.
