London March 7 Allied troops will march into Germany tomorrow under the Allies decision to impose penalties for non fulfillment of reparations obligations. Official announcement stated this evening.
London report says the Allies will apply penalties for non fulfillment of reparations. British Prime Minister announced that without German proposals toward a permanent settlement there can be no peace. Penalties include Allied occupation of Duisburg Düsseldorf and Ruhr area cities, import taxes by Allied counties, and a Rhine customs boundary under Allied control.
Belfast report says Geo Clancy mayor of Limerick was shot in bed at his home early today. His wife was seriously wounded as bands of men invaded the residence. The attack is linked to the assassination of Brigadier General Cummins at Clonban on Saturday.
Julius Babey of Louisville escaped last night from the reformatory in Frankfort where he was serving a life sentence for wife murder. Babey climbed over the prison wall before dawn. Warden Mover said Babey was a trusty inmate and no one was to blame. no trace had been found by March 7.
Clark circuit court ruling in the estate dispute of James M. Thomas, the Jackson county lumber magnate, was overturned by the Court of Appeals. The case returns for more evidence on accounts as trustees and heirs contend over proceeds from a $400 000 sale and related expenses.

Harry D Rice of Lancaster formerly of Richmond has started farming on his father's land near Lancaster after a four year agriculture course at Iowa State College. He earned two cash prizes at the Kentucky Beef Cattle Association event in Lexington during Farmers Week for accurate weight estimates of steers, receiving a $4 total prize and a congratulatory letter from the association.

Mrs Nannie B Ross former Kentucky Daughters of Rebekah state president died at relatives home near Milford Ohio She was formerly of Louisville and aged respected member of the order passes away after long service in the organization in Cincinnati area March 7.
Residents of Bowling Green Missouri observed a day of mourning as Champ Clark's body arrived by train. The cortege moved to the courthouse where the body lay in state until two o clock, with schools closed and flags at half mast. No formal service was held, the burial fittingly taking place at the grave.
