Bryantsville Kentucky January 9 what appears to be an attempted bank burglary at the Bank of Bryantsville was discovered when a vented acetylene oxygen tank lay by a window. About 15.06 was on hand in the till. A Perrynville garage in Boyle county reported the oxygen tank stolen from their shop Saturday afternoon. Two acetylene tanks were also missing investigators suspect amateurs intended to cut the safe with a torch but were frightened away by a physician at 2 this morning. Kentucky Bankers Association secretary Mary J. Smith was notified in Louisville and began an inquiry.
