The airship ZR 2, bought by the United States from Great Britain, exploded over Hull today. It broke in two above the Humber while in good shape, then burst into flames and descended. Three parachutes were seen, and thousands watched as wreckage fell near Victoria Pier. Two dead and several injured were later landed for treatment.
