Junior Fresh Party Proclaimed Success
Last Friday night at 8 30 the Takers of the old Red Cross Building held a party for the Freshmen by their Junior sisters. Music by Virginian Ferguson and after-dinner dancing followed by fortunes told by Polly Cochran. An abundance of Dixie cups spoons and cakes and dining made the event a great success.

College Press Group to Hold Annual Meet in Virginia
The Sixth Annual Convention of the Virginia Intercollegiate Prose Association will be held October 2 and 22 with Farmville State Teacher's College and Hampden Sydney College hosting. Edwin S. William Pettis, president of the Student Government, reports about four hundred students have signed the 1932-33 Honor Code. An intensive drive will continue to obtain signers from fraternities and other unsigners. The code revised lighter punishments to gain wider approval.
