The Y M C A hosted a social evening featuring Westhampton College guests. Morence Smith violin solo and a quartet entertained, followed by talks by Rev C A Jenkins Coach Dobson and Dean J C Metcalf. Richmond College students were urged to support the Y M C A. Refreshments concluded the event.

The Westhampton Rate made its formal debut at the Student Government reception for new girls. Upperclass Richmond College ladies attended. guests mingled in a red and pine décor as couples drew partners from a basket. The event included grand march, refreshments, and light flirtations as the hosts began the season.
