Kathleen Privett Improves After Appendectomy
Miss Kathleen Privett who had an appendectomy last Tuesday at St Luke's Hospital after arriving at Westhampton College is reported improving steadily. Doctors say recovery is rapid and she hopes to resume studies soon.

Westhampton YWCA Cabinet Plans for Stronger Year
The Westhampton College YWCA cabinet held its initial meeting on Sunday September 20 and outlined plans to strengthen the organization. A October 3 sightsee ing tour through Richmond will visit Battle Abbey Poe's Shrine St John's Church Capitol Building and other sites. The Student Industrial Club led by Eva Nixon will meet twice monthly with working girls at the City YWCA to improve understanding and social conditions in local factories.
