Proposed New University Library To Add Beauty To Campus

Ted Eggleston reports University of Richmond moves to raise 1 million dollars for postwar expansion, led by a central library. The plan envisions a Gothic entrance, a tall tower, connected to the old library, with 400 to 600 reading spaces, seminar rooms, and a rare book room.

Spiders to Clash With William and Mary in Thanksgiving Classic

The Mae Pitt coached Spiders meet William and Mary at City Stadium tomorrow at 3 PM in a renewed rivalry. Spiders drilled all week to shore up pass defense and ride two All-State candidates center Jack Null and tailback Charlie Suttenfield. Gil Rodgers and Jimmy Allen will pace Spider air and Bob Walker handles kicking. A 8:00 PM Pep Rally on Milchiser field precedes the game.

Co-ords To Sponsor Puppet Show at Westhampton College

On December 6 the Puppeteers of the Teatro Nahual visit Richmond sponsored by Westhampton College with Puppeteers of America as host. The program includes English talk on Indian roots of Mexican Puppetry, a Spanish puppet play, folk dances by puppets, and exhibits by Lola Cueta. Admission is thirty five cents at 4:30 p.m.
