Spider Musicians 10 to Get Uniforms by Thanksgiving
Uniforms for the Spider Band are expected to arrive soon under J. C. Swanson the director. Delays kept them from the Hampden Sidney game but they will be ready for the William and Mary game on Thanksgiving. funds are provided by the Richmond College Student Government Association. The outfits include blue slip-on sweaters trimmed in red with a large U R and blue oversea caps.

Freshmen Parade as Rat Class Delights Hampden Sydney Crowd
Freshmen at the University of Richmond debuted as the Rat Class at Mayo Island Park during intermission of the Hampden Sydney game. About 7,000 spectators watched as they dressed in varied costumes with painted faces, performed a snake dance, and cheered the team while taunting the Tigers. The spider mascot preceded the group, carried by four men, and the freshmen were dressed by the sophomore class with help from Richmond College chapel preparations. They arrived by trolley from Fourth and Broad Streets.

Seniors Attend Coming Fall Play on November 28
Seniors from Richmond College and Westhampton will attend the Dramatic Club’s presentation of Grumpy at the Woman's Club on November 28. The twin-class theater party demonstrates cooperation and loyalty. The plot follows criminals attempting to steal a diamond from a young Englishman en route to London, with fighting and romance across scenes.

Chatham Club Holds Initial Meet of Year in Y M C A Building

Westhampton Students Undergo Appendicitis Operations
Anne Gravatt becomes the third Westhampton student to need an appendectomy this term. She was operated on at St. Luke's Hospital in Richmond after chronic attacks and is reported to be recovering well. Kathleen Privett and Margaret Dorsey were the first two Westhampton girls to undergo similar surgeries this year.

Westhampton Students Collect Budget Fees
Westhampton College reports nearly all budget fees paid by students. About 5150 dollars have been collected with remaining balances owing to avoid daily fines. The budget funds the student government association athletic association and class dues plus a ten dollar publication fee. Seven dollars go to Web one dollar seventy five cents to The Richmond Collegian and one dollar twenty five cents to The Messenger.

Hill and Dale Team Seeks Retaliation in Richmond Meet
Cross country showdown at the University of Richmond features William and Mary visiting for the first time this year.
