Tommy Tucker and his Californians return to Washington and Lee to perform for interfraternity fall dances in Millhiser Gymnasium today from 4 30 to 6 00 and this evening and tomorrow evening from 8 to 12. Pat Clifford blues singer tops the bill as advance tickets sell fast for a $2 50 dance and $1 50 per night with a 75 cent tea dance today.

Roanoke Trustee Angell Dies Sudden After Illness
Robert Henderson Angell prominent Roanoke and Richmond College trustee and Virginia Republican leader died suddenly at his Roanoke home after strokes caused by high blood pressure. Born 1868 in Franklin County, he rose from brick yard worker to public and party service, chaired Virginia Republicans in 1928 and served in the House of Delegates and Roanoke city council. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Roanoke.

After faculty approval the Rich mond College Student Senate announces the yearly apportionment of the student activities fee. Most groups keep or gain shares while bands are reduced to offset increases for government and YMCA. The system began last year to fund all student activities more solidly.

Cadets Meet Spiders in Rivalry Clash at Stadium
Tomorrow in Lexington the Flying Squadron from WY, M. L. will face the University of Richmond Spiders in a long awaited meeting. The Cadets seek their first win over Richmond since 1930 and hope to end a rough season with a notable upset. Captain Hope is out for the Spiders, replacing him with Ural Humphries as Sanford returns at tackle. The Cadets rely on Billy Smith at quarterback as key playmaker while Dodson Nimmo Urick and Straub bolster the attack. A large crowd is expected for a historic 1895 rivalry renewed at the Stadium.

Westhampton Senior Class Holiday Dance Set for Thanksgiving Eve
The Westhampton Senior Class hosts its annual dance on Thanksgiving Eve November 29 in the college dining room. After a rally in Millhiser Gymnasium the event runs from 9 p.m. to midnight with The Diplomats band and Marydee and Jackie Lowe singing. Cloak room service is provided and tickets cost 50 cents for stags and 75 cents for couples with sales by Edith McDanel Virginia Stiff Grace Rowland and Katherine Bell.
