Nine University of Richmond students will attend the Virginia Intercollegiate Press Association convention at Tarmville State Teachers' College and Hampden Sydney today and Saturday. Delegates include Tom Warriner and Lee Saunders among editors. The program features talks by Paul Watkins of Ashland Herald Progress and remarks by G Peter Jones. Mary Washington College band members, about 56 strong, visit Richmond for a tea dance in Millhiser Gymnasium from 3 to 6 p.m. The Richmond Collegians, a ten piece group, provide music. Admission 36 cents. The two bands will parade and perform joint formations during the game between Richmond and UNC.

Richmond Plans New Seating For Final Home Games
Athletic director Glenn Thistlethwaite announced Richmond will move the football team and seat students in the east stands for the last two home games. The North Carolina game assigns the east stands to students, with bands at opposite ends. The Mary Washington and William and Mary games center student sections near the 50 yard line from the east stands. The stadium seats 1,118 in the new stands, expanding capacity to over 12,000.

Richmond College Forensic Council to Elect Secretary Treasurer
The Richmond College Forensic Council will meet next Wednesday at 12 30 P M to elect a new secretary treasurer and consider adopting a new constitution. John Decker chairs a constitution committee with Stuart Williams and Louis Brenner. Rowland Burns serves as secretary pro tem. A draft constitution was discussed and portions adopted as the group works toward formalizing the body.
