Mu Sigma Rho Wins In First Intersociety Debate

Friday evening October 29 Mu Sigma Rho defeated the Philologians in the first intersociety debate at Westhampton and Richmond. The topic was Resolved That the Democratic Administration is unfit to return to power on its past record. Presidents Edwards and Fox led the sides, with Handy and Erman as judges. Wood and Beatty argued for the Mu Sigs, Keith and Miller for the Philologians. the audience enjoyed the program.

Y W A Members Discuss Foreign Missions Program

Misses Tucker Bowles James Russell Dudley and Arthay presented a Y W A program titled A Survey of Foreign Missions. The session opened with a prayer for the Foreign Mission Board and covered topics including the VY. W. A. relation to the Y, The Tumult of Peace, The Big Business and The Present Status of Women in Foreign Lands.
