Spiders Face VMI Keydets In Title Tilt

Richmond's undefeated Spiders meet the VMI Keydets in a homecoming showdown at City Stadium at 2 30 pm. The 47th clash draws a potential 18000 spectators including Governor Price and both school bands. Richmond leans on a 116 to 6 scoring edge in wins over five opponents. VMI touts a Centennial Team season with wins over Virginia Roanoke Vanderbilt and Davidson and a late safety.

String Quartet To Play Today At University Recital

The University String Quartette will make its first public appearance of the new session at Convocation today. The quartet, formed two years ago by Professor N W Skinner, includes Dr A I Whitenfish first violin Mrs Fred Velmet second violin Professor N W Skinner viola and Miss A Nolde cello.

Westhampton Seniors Prep Play Cast for December 2

Twenty one seniors are in the cast of a Westhampton senior play presented by the Co-ords in the Playhouse on December 2. Virginia Bugg stars as Peg with a strong college-type ensemble including Robert Winfrey Margaret Ligon Emma Lou Parsons and others. The script centers on a frat pin in a girls school and aims to rival Brother Rat at VMI and The Women in society.

Bonfire Rally Planned Tonight Before VMI Richmond Game

A pep rally bonfire will be held on Milcher field tonight at 7 30. Wood collection began Wednesday and Richmond College freshmen were asked to help. Sophomore President Garnett urged full student support for the game tomorrow with VMI.
