A record alumni turnout is expected for the University of Richmond Homecoming Day featuring the Spiders versus Cavaliers football game at City Stadium. Queen Janie Copenhaver will reign at halftime with attendants as bands from Mary Washington, University of Virginia, and Richmond College perform. The day also includes a noon alumni luncheon, social events, a Richmond VMI B squad game, and dances ending with Bob Chester's orchestra in Millhiser Gym.

Gates Appeals for WSSF Drive Support at RC
Percy Gates, chairman of the World Student Service Fund drive at Richmond College, urged men to help reach a $1,200 goal by November 8. The two week effort has raised just over $100 with about ten percent of students contributing. The fund supports student education abroad and requires recipient countries to contribute as well. Donations are accepted by YMCA Cabinet members and WSSF committee members.
