Richmond Hosts South Atlantic Track at Spring 1923 Meet
In 1923 the South Atlantic track and field events will be held at the University of Richmond. At a May 6 7 Washington meet with Georgetown University Spider athletes qualified in pole vault broad jump and half mile while Hite and Williams faced falls and non qualifying results. Carlton tied Seamans of VMI for first in pole vault with 10 feet 9 inches as Spencer earned third in the two mile won by Gerard of Washington and Lee.

The University Players staged An Evening Frolic on May 12 to fund the last issue of The Richmond Collegian. Final ball game goes fourteen frames in season finale
