VA Tightens Summer GI Bill Eligibility Checks
The Veterans Administration moves to prevent overdrawn GI Bill benefits by requiring two supplemental eligibility certificates for veterans changing schools during summer term. One certificate must be obtained before summer entry and a second before returning to the original school. VA will prepare these to show remaining education time and deduct the summer period. Veterans should apply by mid summer for the second certificate.

Phi Gamma Delta Tops Fraternity Scholastic Standings
Official figures from the Richmond College Dean's Office show Phi Gamma Delta leading all fraternities in the 1946-47 scholarly race with an average of 1.194. Lambda Chi Alpha placed second at 1.125, both exceeding the all-men average of 1.007 and the all-fraternity average of 0.991. Other groups ahead of the average included Sigma Phi Epsilon, Phi Delta Theta, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Phi Kappa Sigma.

Two Glee Clubs Plan Concert in Greek Theater
The Glee Clubs of Westhampton and Richmond College will join for a variety concert in the Greek Theater on Wednesday May 19 at 815 p m under Miss Thelma Cook and Mr Mark Troxell. Selections will be performed separately then jointly with songs In the Still of the Night Alleluia and Ode to America admission is free and the public is invited. The Richmond College Glee Club recently traveled to Harrisonburg for the State Auditions of the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs and sang spirituals then joined the massed chorus for Brahms How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place and Alleluia. Earlier the club performed for the Business Men's Convention in Millhiser Gymnasium.
