May Day Fest Shifted Indoor at Weathamp ton College
Rain forced Weathamp ton College to move the May Day ceremony from the Greek Theatre to the gymnasium on May 6. Ann Twombly was crowned queen by Ruth Maris as the court and senior class formed the backdrop. The program included a Rimsky Korsakov ballet scene, May Pole dance, lantern serenade, and a Rainbow Ball with Ray Raymond and his orchestra.

TKA Cites Five For Membership On Campus
Tau Kappa Alpha announced written invitations for five eligible students Cora Lynn Chaffee Doris Colley Isabel Gunnels Amy Hickerson and Ruth Schimmel. The Interfraternity Council schedules a mass meeting for all active and some alumni members in the Biology Lecture Room on Tuesday night May 15 at eight o clock. A committee of Dr Thomas Dy Caylor Dr McDanel and one member from each fraternity will discuss fraternity problems with floor discussion and Dr Holtzclaw will speak on enrollment for next year. Attendance is urged for all campus fraternity men.
