Dr John W I Dulles professor of Latin American studies and advisor on international programs at the University of Texas will address Pan American week. He has a long mining industry background and has traveled extensively in Latin America. A talk on Brasil titled The Awakening Giant is planned with related events and a film Journey Into Springtime.

Dave Guard formerly of the Kingston Trio leads the Whiskey Hill Singers in a concert at the gym on April 27 from 8 to 10 p.m. The quartet includes Buck Wheat Judy Henske and Cyrus Faryar. They play multiple instruments and have toured since debuting February 1 this year.
