University Blood Drive Exceeds Quota by 39 Pints
The Interfraternity Council sponsored drive on campus last Thursday collected 189 pints of blood, surpassing a 150 pint quota. The unit operated in Keller Hall gym, drawing mainly from students and beating its previous two city runs.

The University of Richmond took three trophies and a presidency at the VIPA Spring convention. The Richmond Collegian won first in student newspapers and the Roanoke Times and World News trophy for news writing. Miss Virginia LeSueur was named VIPA president for the coming year. Virginia Tech placed second and Stratford Traveler third in newspapers. William and Mary’s The Royalist won top magazine prize with Randolph-Macon Woman's College Tatler as runner up.
