Elizabeth Taylor Visits UR Campus in Richmond Workshop

Elizabeth Taylor toured the University of Richmond with husband John Warner, meeting press and drama students from several colleges. She shared acting insights, cited Mike Nichols as a preferred director, recalled National Velvet and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, and discussed women in theater while noting her past marriage to Burton. Warner hinted at a Senate bid.

Greek Week 1977Kegs and Parties Dominate University Events

Greek Week runs March 27 to April 2 with four parties and about 75 kegs of beer. Events include softball, boat race, chariot race, Greek Olympics, and multiple concerts and dances at Westhampton Greek Theater and Pitt Field. Attendance limited to UK Greeks students and Westhampton College. non-Greeks and minors barred.

Curriculum Report To Be Discussed

The Curriculum Committee Report in Collegian is open for discussion by students faculty and administration. Open meetings are today and next Monday Tuesday and Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Richmond College lounge. The report goes to the faculty next Thursday for review with potential changes to take effect in 1979 and scholars program planned for 1978. Board of Trustees will also review.
