Jenkins Donates 230 Volumes to University Library
L. Howard Jenkins, on the Richmond university board, donated over 280 volumes to the University Library. Books on display feature a plate of Luther H. Jenkins Greek Theatre, completed in 1929. The collection includes 42 Virginia works 48 South books 86 biographies and titles in education history science sociology and religion. Alfred Peyton Jenkins also gave a Cordoba painting in memory of his mother for the Westhampton Social Center Building.

Fellows Named for Robertson Jones Join Cornell Virginia Programs
Roberton and Jones, elected to Phi Beta Kappa, receive graduate assistantships at Cornell and the University of Virginia. Dr Loving announced Taylor's position with Glenn Martin Company Baltimore. All three physics and math majors expect bachelor’s degrees in June. Robertson and Jones serve as VP and secretary of Sigma Pi Sigma and Robertson holds the Lawrence Fellowship in mathematics.
