Ex-Player Marshall Convicted Of Burglary In Richmond Dorms

Former University of Richmond basketball player Mark Anthony Tony Marshall was found guilty on three burglary charges for entering two dorm rooms at the University of Richmond. He was found not guilty on stealing three credit cards. Sentencing set for May 19 after a presentence report.

New System Registration Set for Fall 1976 at Richmond

Richmond and Westhampton College announce advance registration for Fall 1976 77 in the Robins Center auxiliary gym beginning at 8 16 on April 16 with no classes that day. Registrar Ben Harmon says in person time cards determine entry by senior to freshman.

Post Office To Remain At Location

University of Richmond Post Office will stay in the Student Center next year while a study tests whether to replace Mayo who died this week. Postmaster Mizell says options include continuing, consolidating or discontinuing the position, with no decision yet.

UR Student Indicted on Murder and Assault Counts

Louis Achilles Coukos, a 22 year old University of Richmond psychology student, was indicted by a Charlottesville grand jury on one murder count and two felonious assault counts for a December 9 shooting that killed his brother and injured his parents. The defense plans a temporary insanity claim while not contesting the acts.

Media firms withhold kepone materials under subpoena

Attorneys for WLEE and WXEX told a University of Richmond audience they may withhold information from Circuit Court Judge Mehrige. Allied Chemical seeks access to all media documents on kepone, as Richmond area outlets largely agree to turn over materials, while stations claim the files are their property and part of investigative reporting.
