Mills Named Southern Conference Coach of the Year
UA coach Lewis Mills won the Southern Conference Coach of the Year in a landslide vote by 25 of 52 ballots. Davidson's Lefty Driesell was runner up with nine votes as Mills guided a young UA squad to a 12-13 season and notable comebacks against Virginia East Carolina and West Virginia.
