Westhampton College Prom Recalls Half Century Of Change
The Westhampton College Junior Prom for the Class of 1948 will be held tomorrow night at 8 30 in Keller Hall gym with a tropical garden theme. Florence Lide leads the figure with her date F A Bristow and other officers join in, as Art Baldwin provides music and Orchids in the Moonlight sets the tone. Tickets are two dollars per couple, chaperones include Dr and Mrs Raymond Pinchbeck and Dr and Mrs George Modlin, with post event permission until 1 00 am.

The Players Revue directed by Alton W. Williams features Virginia Smith and her chorus with eight Westhampton girls in a kick and novelty dance. Janie Copenhaver is highlighted in a specialty act. A blackout sketch by Kappa Sig and other acts by Theta Chi and Prof Williams’ groups accompany the orchestra led by L L McGee.

The Richmond College Forensic Council will supervise the district American Legion Oratorical contest tomorrow at 2 30 p m in the Administration Building classrooms. Stanley Cohen council president announced today. The public is invited to attend this contest with a national prize of 4000 dollars for the high school winner and cash awards and scholarships for runner ups.

YMCA Cabinet Opens Student Study Room at Y Building
The YMCA cabinet converts a Y building room into a student lounge and study area due to crowded campus facilities. It will be ready by March 19 and open daily from 8 30 a m to 10 30 p m for Rich mond College students with chairs magazines and a radio available.
